Slap helps you quickly enter information into your Palm, and is your first place to write quick notes and ideas.

Write details of an appointment, like "Meet Tom at 7pm", then tap the Datebook button on the right side of the screen. Slap will interpret your writing and let you quickly enter that appoinment into your datebook.

Write an address into Slap, and tap the addressbook button to enter an address into your Palm. For example, write:

  Bob Jones
  123 Main Street
  Sunnytown, CA 12345
  (123) 456-7890
  bob@randomemail.com

After you press the address button, you will see how Slap interprets this, and then be able to send it to the address book.

Similarly, lists of tasks can easily be sent to the task list, the contents of the Slap screen can be sent to a memo, or even sent as an email.

To have Slap work on a portion of what you have entered, select that text before tapping a button on the right.
